A LOT is new. it’s really an amazing game. there are some faults; demon baby glitches, no open world, no toddlers. but the game is really good. it’s so much more deep. deep as in detailed.
instead of just gaining a cooking skill, when you gain maximum skill for it, you get to do ‘gourmet cooking’. and there are so much more meal choices. for breakfast you have: french toast, scrambled eggs, pancakes, omelets, bacon and eggs, eggs and toast. it’s really cool.
i do LOVE the facts there are no more sliders. i don’t know if you played the CAS demo, but yeah. you can shape them any way you want. yeah , it’s a bit time consuming if you have a certain way you want them to look, but at least it’s POSSIBLE, y’know?
the skills are about the same, just a little more added. the careers are different. there aren’t any average ones which i do dislike a bit. they could’ve kept the old ones AND still had the newer ones. there’s only a few like: tech guru, special agent, comedian/entertainer, chef/mixologist, etc.
you can also plan events more deeper. for instance, my sim got married and we had to hire a caterer, a mixologist, and an entertainer. now when you get married you have the choice to call off the wedding or exchange vows. you can also have dinner parties. and instead of just guessing how to make your event a ‘roof raiser’ it gives you a list of what to do and you get medals for how good your party is. if you get a bronze, silver, or gold, you get special items in your household inventory.
it is definitely worth buying, my friend. ^_^
